Nirranda Honour Roll
There was a newspaper article I found on TROVE that led me to search for this Nirranda Honor Roll. It is the only one I could find.
The Newspaper Article was regarding the unveiling of the Honor Roll listing 100 men from the Nirranda district who were "playing their part in the Great War" and there was a speech in the Warrnambool Standard Tuesday 5th March 1918 (pg3).
At the time of print out of the 100 men 14 had been killed and 36 wounded.
My grandfather O.H. Soderholm is in the middle row 2nd from the bottom.
He left Europe 7th July 1919 on the S.S.Chemnitz and arrived in Melbourne on 12th August 1919.
[Otto later re-enlisted and joined WW2]
